While me, Maan and Shanni were at the NCPAG Library (yes, I do go inside the library), I saw a magazine called Women’s Journal. I scanned it and got this:

Dragon

Traits: independent, enthusiastic, magical, intuitive, shrewd, successful, daring, materialistic and very lucky. Talkative, tactless, artistic, flirtatious, self-sufficient, idealists and perfectionists. Dragons represent strength, health and good fortune, but can be stubborn and impulsive. Somewhat proud and has a sense of superiority with a quick temper, but always attractive.

Ok. Here’s what I think:

Independent. Hmm… come to think of it, I really work well when I’m alone. And as you may know by now, I live without my parents, so I guess that’s an indication.

Enthusiastic. Well, I think I am a bit enthusiastic, but only to things I’m really really interested in.

Magical. What the hell does this mean? Oooh…maybe I got superpowers but I still haven’t discovered them yet. Cool!

Intuitive. I like to think I have ESP ‘cause I can really sense that something is about to happen. One time when I was young, I told my mom that my dad will come home in a few days. Guess what? He came home the next day. Amazing right?

Shrewd. I don’t really understand this so I consulted Mr. Dictionary. Apparently, shrewd means showing or possessing intelligence, insight, and sound judgment, especially in business or politics. At least now you don’t have to wonder why I’m taking Public Administration.

Successful. I still can’t tell right now but hopefully I will be. I know I will.

Daring. So this explains why I’m into extreme sports!

Materialistic. Well, not really.

Very lucky. Wow! That’s all I can say. Wow!

Talkative. Ehem.

Tactless. Me? Tactless? I don’t quite agree with this one. I may be tactless at times but only when I reach my boiling point.

Artistic. *laughs* I’m no Picasso but I have aesthetic values you know. I have a lot of artistic ideas but unfortunately, most of them I cannot implement.

Flirtatious. I guess this justifies what Laurence (my ex-boyfriend) thinks of me. I may be flirtatious but I’m no two-timer. And in contrary to what he thinks I am (a cheating bitch that is) I can honestly say that I didn’t cheat on him (let alone think about cheating on him).

Self-sufficient. Yeah I am able to manage alone but I still need other people’s help.

Idealist. Oh, I guess this is the reason why I really want to be a lawyer and my fascination in politics and public service. I look up to people such as Gringo Honasan (because he helped in the EDSA 1 uprising) and Oprah (because she’s so smart and she is really an inspiration to all).

Perfectionist. Not really but there are small signs that I like things perfect. I’m not an OC though.

Represents strength, health and good fortune. I’m strong in mind, body and soul. I’m healthy (I guess) and I’m lucky. Cool!

Can be stubborn and impulsive. Me? Stubborn? Ok, I may be stubborn but only when I feel like it. Impulsive? I like my being impulsive. It makes me unpredictable.

Somewhat proud and has a sense of superiority with a quick temper. Woah! Whoever wrote this need not to put all this traits in one sentence (i-emphasize daw ba?). I admit I am proud but I’m not a braggadocio. What’s wrong with being proud ba? As long as I don’t hurt other people, I’m good. I do have a sense of superiority but I only use it when needed, not to the point that I boss people around. Finally, I may have a quick temper but I keep it to myself, I don’t take it on anyone else. Whew! Napagod ako mag-explain nito.

Always attractive. Well, what can I say? Even the stars say I’m attractive. Yun na yun. Hehehe!

*Another thing, it said there that Maan , born on the year of the tiger, has irresistable magnetism. Wohoo! Todo na 'to!
