Yes! Air21 does it again!
PBA games are back after a long break due to the 23rd SEA Games. Yesterday was an out of town game between my favorite team, Air21 Express and pre-season favorite Brgy. Ginebra Kings. It was Air21 all the way as they lead in all 3 quarters and beating their 'end-game curse' with 109-101 victory against the Kings. As usual, it was a happy day for me (kahit na wala pa akong naaaral sa Econ, ayos pa rin...hehehe!)here's the game story:AIR21 SURVIVES BRGY. GINEBRA ON THE ROADRanidel de Ocampo takes cudgels for fouled out Daniels in endgame
Saturday, 10 December 2005ORMOC CITY. -- Air21 came out of a 17-day layoff with boundless energy Saturday night, ending a long losing spell in its head-on duels with Barangay Ginebra in a road game in the San Mig Coffee-PBA Fiesta Conference at the Ormoc Superdome here.
Ranidel de Ocampo took the cudgels as import Shawn Daniels fouled out with 2:15 left to play, powering the Express to a 109-101 upset of the Barangay Ginebra Kings.De Ocampo scored nine of his career-high 24 points in the last two minutes, and the Express fended off a fierce endgame chase of the Kings for their seventh win in 13 outings.Beating the Kings for the first time in their last eight meetings dating back to last season, the Express caught up with their victim at third place, just half-game behind the second-running Talk ‘N Text Phone Pals (7-5).
Barangay Ginebra was the lone team Air21 wasn’t able to beat since last season prior to the game. The Kings stretched their domination of the Express early in this tourney with a 93-83 win in their first match in the double-round classifications. But the Express made a big turnaround from that contest, taking the Kings’ number this time on tremendous efforts on both ends of the court.Daniels, De Ocampo and Renren Ritualo took turns in delivering the goods for Air21 but De Ocampo stood out for personally holding off the Kings’ rally in the homestretch.
Recording a career-scoring high for the second time in their last three games, De Ocampo took charge for the Express as the Kings came within a basket at 95-97 following a triple by Rodney Santos with 1:57 left to play. Daniels had justfouled out of the game then. The 6-foot-6 slotman out of St. Francis of Assisi College first drove past Sean Lampley then made two free throws off a foul by Santos.Regaining control on De Ocampo’s crucial four-point binge, the Express went on to complete a convincing victory in their first game after bowing to the Coca-Cola Tigers, 106-115 last Nov. 20.Air21 is now 1-1 while Ginebra 0-3 in out-of-town matches this conference.De Ocampo also marked his 24-point splurge with 4-of-5 shooting from the three-point area. He also had seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 30 minutes of action.Daniels paced the team with 30 points with Ritualo adding 15.
Barangay Ginebra’s Sean Lampley led all scorers with 33, his highest in the conference, but reigning league MVP Eric Menk was held to under-10 points for the second straight game.

going a few days back, there was an Ateneo-La Salle Dream Games where a match was held for the legends and the all-stars.La Salle won in the legends match but Ateneo won in the all-stars - amidst something that happened between two athletes.I CAN'T BELEIVE JOSEPH YEO HIT ENRICO VILLANUEVA! it was just a couple of minutes after the start of the 3rd quarter when Rico rebounded the ball and nudged Joseph in the shoulder (which is legal in a basketball game). Maybe Joseph was hurt and lost his temper so he made an act of stealing the ball but hit Rico's face instead. it was a harsh and 'maangas' move from joseph. so i decided na ayoko na sa kanya. super like ko talaga ang Ateneo.

"Real love is when you love someone without asking for anything in return. It's when even a passing smile can make your day, a small pat on the back can make you feel alive and the mere sound of his/her voice can move you to break out into a song inside.
Real love isn't fate nor is it written in the stars. You , yourself, have to make love happen. It's a choice; a commitment that you stand up for. And even if you're uncertain if he'she loves you back, you take the risk of facing whatever pain that would come your way simply because you believe he/she is worth everything and more."
